my first trip to the DMV! [Thu 13 Mar 08|07:18p] [ mood | busy ] Well, not exactly. I'm PREPPING to go to the DMV and it is quite the experience. First, I had to scour around the DMV site for exactly what I needed. Two forms, one for title registration and the other plate registration. A trip to the DEQ, 20 minutes from my house, for an emissions test. A check for the DMV because they don't take credit cards. My title fedexed from Michigan. Proof of residence (I grabbed a pile of mail). Proof of insurance. All need to be brought to a full service DMV so I can also get a VIN inspection. And when that's done (cost unknown), I then have to get a front bumper plate bracket installed on my bug because this is a two plate state. I miss you secretary of state! 1 voice| raise up
